Early returns and underdriven kilometers

Rules for early rental returns and underdriven kilometers.

When you, as a renter, enter into a rental agreement with a car owner, the car owner simultaneously reserves the car for you during the period you want to rent it and agrees that you may drive the number of included and any additional purchased kilometers. At the same time, the car owner is presented with an income for the rental, which the car owner receives when the rental is completed.

Therefore, as a renter, you are not refunded for unused kilometers or early return of the car.

It is important that you align the rental period before you book and estimate how many kilometers you will need during the rental period, for example, by entering your trip or trips in Google Maps.

If you find out that you need the car for a longer period or need to drive more kilometers, you can modify the rental before it starts. You can learn how to do so here. If the rental has started, you cannot purchase additional kilometers, but you can request to extend the rental. Read more about how to do it here.

In the event that a rental period is shortened due to the car owner's circumstances, please contact us within 48 hours, as in such cases you may be eligible for a refund of lost rent and unused kilometers.
