Rental cancellation policy (draft)

This article outlines our cancellation policy for car rental for both the car owner and the renter.

To ensure positive experiences for all renters and car owners, the party canceling an accepted booking is required to pay a cancellation fee. This fee serves as compensation for the inconvenience caused to the other party.

If the car owner cancels

When a car owner accepts a booking on GoMore, they commit to renting out their car to the renter. If the car owner later cancels the booking, for instance, due to the car's unavailability or personal need, they incur a cancellation fee. This fee compensates the renter for the disruption caused by the cancellation. The compensation to the renter is provided in GoMore Points, which the renter can utilize to book another car. The cancellation fee is deducted from the car owner's GoMore balance.

The specific amount of the cancellation fee depends on how close to the start of the rental period the car owner cancels.
